One night terror website that I found helpful was http://onlineceucredit.com/edu/social-work-ceus-sd. I hope this is helpful and I hope that your daughter overcomes this.Lindanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283755482986257854.post-27314843993122441072011-05-24T07:50:08.275-07:002011-05-24T07:50:08.275-07:00Oh wow, that must be really hard to deal with as a...Oh wow, that must be really hard to deal with as a mom knowing that you can't console her. I've never experienced anything like this, but I really hope you guys figure out something that helps her!Rachhttp://thisitalianfamily.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283755482986257854.post-1224614511271696522011-05-23T18:25:53.151-07:002011-05-23T18:25:53.151-07:00That's interesting. But at times I get so desperate and finally leave and it seems like she does better when I'm not in the room. Because at times, she will partially wake up and then add some of her own drama into it, and then it gets frustrating.Stephaniehttp://chicagodavis.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283755482986257854.post-70155097636006599662011-05-23T13:24:19.031-07:002011-05-23T13:24:19.031-07:00I have friends who deal with this. Don't go in there or anything. And that seems to have worked best in that their daughter is able to console herself and go back to sleep in like 10-15 minutes instead of the 45 it would take them to settle her. And she has no recollection of it or being left in her room or anything.Kelleyhttp://coachandcounselor.comnoreply@blogger.com
